Bill Doyle
Prior to founding WFD Ventures, Bill was Vice President, Licensing and Acquisitions for Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices and Diagnostics (MD&D) Group of companies. He was a member of J&J’s MD&D Group Operating Committee and Chairman of J&J’s Medical Devices Research and Development Council. Additionally, Bill was a member of the board of directors of Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, J&J's venture capital subsidiary.

Bill was a Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners leading its healthcare and outsourcing investment practices.

Earlier in his career, Bill was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. He was involved in founding Durel Corporation, a joint venture of Rogers Corporation and 3M, and was the first employee of American Superconductor Corporation.
